I picked up this title when it was a freebie. Caroline sleeps over at a friend's house out in the country side. Walking back from a midnight run to the restroom, she takes a wrong turn in the dark, and ends up in the bedroom of her longtime crush, Jack. And before we know it, they spend the night together.This is one of those stories that scream "MORE!!!" The writer penned a really, really nice, exquisite, tender, hot sex scene, and I wish the author had spent more time and effort with the set up leading to this bedroom scene. Why was Caroline there? What kind of relationship does she have with Jack?
The author tries to salvage the rushed story with a twist at the end. Again, I think it could have been expanded a lot more. Show the readers more about the best friend and her parents. It appears Caroline sleeps over with some frequency. What's the heroine's relationship with the rest of the family?
I vacillated between four stars and five for this title. It deserves a four for the lack of background. But the writing pushes it up to a five in my view. Hopefully, the author will consider expanding this book. As it is, I would not pay 3 bucks for this short story.

Too short ,but was a very good book...............I would have loved it if it was a longer book......in the future I would read more of this author's books
